Panaji (Goa) :
In a letter to the Ireland Embassy in India at New Delhi and the Ireland Consulates in India and Indian Embassy in Ireland the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demanded to take action against Bob Geldof for hurting of National Sentiments of Indians.
It may be recalled that renowned musician, social activist, Noble Peace Prize nominee and a Knight, Nobel Peace Prize nominee during his first visit to Goa made controversial statements like ‘I knew Goa for its image of beautiful women drugs and serene beaches, Goa gave me the best drugs and, Goa and Drugs were completely one thing’ hurting the National Sentiments of Indians. A police complaint has been lodged against him in Panaji Police station in Goa today.

Swami Vivekananda and Dawood Ibrahim have the same IQ : Nitin Gadkari

Open condemnation of Gadkari’s statement !  - HJS

New Delhi : ‘Swami Vivekananda and notorious international terrorist Dawood had same IQ level; but Dawood used his intelligence in criminal world and Swami Vivekananda used his intelligence in the interest of society and nation; therefore, he became so revered. Although their IQ is same, how it is used, should also be seen’. BJP’s national President Mr. Nitin Gadkari made the above statement in a program held at Bhopal on Sunday. His statement has drawn angry reactions from all over the country.

I have not made comparison ! – Clarification by Gadkari

I have not compared anyone. I had only given an example of how intelligence is used by different persons, said Mr. Gadkari clarifying his stand.

Now Congress exhibits love for Swami Vivekananda !

Kasab and Gadkari have same IQ! – Central Minister, Manish Tiwari

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) : If we compare Gadkari’s IQ with the IQ of terrorist Kasab then……, is the question asked by Congress Central Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Manish Tiwari. (Mr. Tiwari has thus clarified that Kasab is a terrorist; then why Kasab is not being hanged? Or Congress has same IQ as that of Kasab; therefore, they are taking care of him?- Editor SP) Tiwari demanded that Gadkari should render apology for his statement.  (When Jayaram Ramesh had compared Hindu temples with lavatories, did Tiwari ask him to render apology ? – Editor SP)

Dr. Zakir Naik issue : BMC Standing Committee President appeals to Somaiya Trust for not letting the ground

Hindus should bring pressure on Somaiya Trust for not letting the ground for Dr. Zakir Naik’s program !

Mumbai : The President of Brihan-Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)’s Standing Committee and Shiv Sena leader, Mr. Rahul Shevale has sent a letter to Somaiya Trust making an appeal to them for  not letting their ground for the program organized by Dr. Zakir Naik.  (Congratulations to devout Hindu, Mr. Rahul Shevale for making an appeal for not letting a ground for Zakir’s program as he has always been spitting venom against Hindu Deities and seats of worship of Hindus !  If all Hindu leaders make such appeal to Somaiya Trust, there can be a change in the situation ! – Editor SP)

Zakir had made derogatory statements about Deities and questioned existence of Sri Ganesha during Ganesha Festival, which were posted on ‘You Tube’ and ‘Face Book’ accounts. In the letter sent by Mr. Shevale, he has mentioned that ‘For many years,  Dr. Zakir has been organizing meetings on a ground at Chunabhatti for propagation of Islam. A case has been filed against him under Sect. 295-A at Sawantwadi and Akola police stations. He has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus and I have also received many complaints from Hindus in the capacity of their leader. I would like to know the decision taken by a renowned Trust like yours, about making available the ground to Dr. Zakir. As a Trustee of a conscientious Trust, I hope that you will take a serious note of sentiments of Hindus. You are requested to advise, through a letter, your standpoint in this matter’.

Huge rally planned in Mumbai today for ban on cow-slaughter !

Agitation will take severe turn if State Govt. ignores the issue ! – H.B.P. Bhagavan Kokare Maharaj

Mumbai : 18 States in this country have passed law banning cow-slaughter; but Maharashtra Government has not yet thought about passing the same. The condition of State is not so bad that it has to survive on export of animal meat. Hindus, who revere cows, will not henceforth, tolerate killing of cow only for appeasement of minorities and provoking Hindus. The State Government should immediately pass the law banning cow-slaughter.

A huge rally will be taken out mainly for the above demand on Monday from Girgaum Chowpatty to Mantralaya. If the Government chooses to ignore the agitation, it will take a severe turn, was the warning given by H.B.P. Bahaman Kotare Maharaja, the founder of ‘Rashtreeya Go-vansh Raksha Samiti’ to the State Government while talking to the reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’.

Mumbai : Celebrate Diwali with spiritual perspective, appeals HJS

Read more about Diwali Festival and Diwali Campaign by HJS

Mumbai : All Hindus celebrate Diwali mainly from the viewpoint of enjoyment and they do not try to take spiritual benefits out of this festival. Crackers with pictures of Hindu Deities, our great national leaders etc. are burst when their pictures get shredded to pieces and trampled leading to their desecration. The firework also causes air and noise pollution; therefore, such crackers should be banned and Hindus should celebrate Diwali from spiritual perspective, was the appeal made by Mr. Prasad Vadake  of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in a press conference held at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh. Mrs. Manali Naik of Sanatan Sanstha explained the spiritual significance of all days of Diwali festival like ‘Dhanatrayodashi’, ‘Yama Deep daan’, ‘Narak Chaturdashi’, ‘Lakshmi-pujan’, ‘Bali Pratipada and ‘Bhau-beej’. She as well informed about small booklet published by Sanatan on ‘Sattvik Rangolis’ to be drawn on the occasion of Diwali. Mrs. Kamal Giramkar of Sanatan Sanstha was also present on the occasion.

HJS oppose 'Playboy Club' in Goa scheduled to start in December

There are reports in Media that 'Playboy Club' is going to be opened in Goa in December 2012. 'Playboy' is a notorious adult magazine, published by US-based Playboy Enterprises Inc. is banned in India because of nudity and obscenity in it. HJS and many other organisations are opposing opening of 'Playboy Club' in Goa !

Letter to Goa CM by HJS regarding cancellation of permission to 'Playboy Club'

H’ble Chief Minister
Government of Goa,
Panaji, Goa.
Sub. : Request to oppose and not give permission to start ‘Playboy Club’ in Goa.

This is with respect to the news of PB Lifestyle, the Indian firm with rights to the Playboy brand, launching the club in the holiday state of Goa in December this year.

We write to you on behalf of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The HJS is a registered NGO doing social, religious and National welfare work. Devoted Hindus doing voluntary charitable work have formed this HJS. The HJS is active throughout India and educating Hindus about Hindu Dharma in a spiritually scientific way assisting in practice of Dharma guiding them about individual spiritual practice, awakening Hindus, etc. For further details please visit our website to know more about our activities.

Goa is known as Parshurambhumi,  is a land of temples and known for its rich cultural heritage .Over recent years Goa has been maligned internationally as a land of Wine, Women and Drugs and to add to this the evil of Casinos is only in the state of Goa. Of late the mining scam has put Goa in the limelight.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) opposes the starting of ‘PB Lifestyle ‘club in Goa and demands ban on it. Starting of such a club will further add insult to injury and degrade the holy Goan state raising questions on moral values of civilized Goan people. Starting of such a club will re-enforce the maligned image of Goa internationally. When the ‘Playboy’, along with a host of other foreign "adult" magazines, is not permitted in India owing to obscenity laws banning material deemed "lascivious or appealing to prurient interests" starting of such a club is being strongly condemned by the HJS.

In the Hindu Dharma the real wealth of a woman is her chastity and nudity means the destruction of her chastity. Unfortunately nowadays the film stars have a big influence on their audience and are as role models to the younger generation. Such an act by an actress is sending very alarming message to the younger generation and just destroying the foundation of a civilized society.

The BJP is committed to preservation and protection of Indian Culture and tradition. Allowing setting up of club like ‘PB Lifestyle ‘will be just contradiction of the same.
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) strongly requests you to oppose the starting of such a club in Goa and not give permission for the same but take action under the Indian Laws on Obscenity and safeguard the respect and dignity of Goa and the Goans.

We are indeed hopeful of a prompt and positive response in the background of the respect of cultural and traditional values of your party’s commitment.

We await your response in the matter.

Yours truly,
Dr. Manoj Solanki,
State coordinator, HJS

Diwali : HJS campaign about Diwali Festival

Diwali : Introduction

Diwali word has been derived from Deepavali which in turn is formed by dipa + avali (row). Hence, Diwali (Deepavali) is a line or a row of lamps. During Diwali, lamps are lit everywhere. Diwali is celebrated on four consecutive days - the thirteenth day (Dhanatrayodashi), the fourteenth day (Narak chaturdashi) and the new moon day (amavasya) [Lakshmipujan] of the dark fortnight of Ashvin and the first day of the bright fortnight of Kartik (Balipratipada). Some exclude the thirteenth and consider only the remaining three days as Diwali. Since Vasubaras and Bhaubij respectively precede and follow Diwali, they are included in it. However in reality they are separate holy festivals.

Mal effects of firecrackers during Diwali

Those who burst firecrackers are Anti-Social, Anti-national and Anti-religion!

1. Physical: Burns, deafness. Many people die in explosions in factories manufacturing fire-crackers. Sometimes, rocket-crackers set fire to huts, heap of dry grass etc.
2. Economic: Terrorists in Pakistan collect funds from people in the name of ‘Jihad’ (Religious War), saying they will purchase bullets to kill ‘Kafirs’ (non-believers). The cost of each bullet is Rs.10/-. With the situation so grim and also because the nation is on the brink of insolvency, it is a sin to burn crores of Rupees on bursting fire-crackers every year.
3. Spiritual: Devotional songs (Aarti) or sattvic sounds attract Divine energies and deities. But noise from crackers, full of ‘tama’ component, attract distressing energies. This is what we are witnessing today in the country. The Tama-charged environment affects the human mind adversely and man becomes Tama-oriented. Hence we must impress the ill-effects of crackers upon the young minds and stop them from bursting crackers.

Apt reply given to BAMCEF for criticising revolutionary Vasudev Balwant Phadke

Commendable act of Vinayak Thigale of HJS !

Vaduj (Dist. Satara, Maharashtra) : A seminar was organized by ‘BAMCEF’ in Shri Khandoba Temple on the occasion of birth anniversary of revolutionary Umaji Naik. Mr. Pratap Patole, a member of BAMCEF from Satara was the main speaker in this program. He talked about revolutionary Vasudev Balwant Phadke in a very derogatory manner; but Mr. Vinayak Thigale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) went on the stage and gave an apt reply, foiling Mr. Patole’s attempt to create rift between Hindus. (Congratulations to Mr. Vinayak Thigale of HJS for giving appropriate reply to those who were trying to divide Hindus! An activist of HJS can single –handedly manage to take on such challenge so easily only because of the grace bestowed by God on HJS. All pro-Hindus can learn a lesson from this and resort to undertaking spiritual practice ! – Editor SP)

Mr. Patole said, “ Vasudev Balwant Phadke made use of people from lower castes and made his name. Not Phadke but Umaji Naik is the ‘Adya-krantikarak’. After Buddhists regime, India was ruled by Hindus i.e. Brahmins.” After his speech, Mr. Thigale got up and went up the stage. He said, “Don’t cause rift amongst Hindus. Phadke sacrificed his life for this country. He died in Eden. There is no comparison to his sacrifice. Umaji Naik was also ‘Adya krantikarak’; but do not compare Phadke and Naik on the basis of castes and belittle their sacrifices. Do not divide people from this village who are staying in harmony. You should talk about progress of people rather than talking against integrity of this country.” After listening to him, some members of audience supported Mr. Thigale and Mr. Patole left in a hurry to avoid being questioned by members of audience.

(Police from Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka etc. have taken down complaints and even filed cases at some places. Police from all over the country are maintaining law and order as per the Indian Penal Code (IPC); but few police officers do what they want and throw complaints lodged by Hindus in dust-bins. This is an insult of Hindus as also of IPC ! – Editor SP) Mr. Suresh Munjal of HJS and Mr. B. R. Singla of RSS had gone to Faridabad police station to lodge a complaint. The pro-Hindu organisations decided to meet high-level police officers as they were refrained from lodging complaint.

Revival of Hindu Dharma necessary for eliminating corruption ! – Dr. Swamy

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra) : The root cause of all problems faced by this country is corruption. Revival of Sanatan Hindu Dharma is necessary for eradication of corruption; because Hindu Dharma lays more emphasis on sacrifice than on accumulation of money. Spiritualization of whole country is required to be done, stated Dr. Subramanian Swamy, MP of Janata Dal. He was speaking in a program ‘Mahadji Abhyankar Smruti Vyakhyanmala’ held at ‘Sant Eknath Rangmandir’ by ‘Devgiri Nagari Sahakari Bank and Marathwada Yuvak Vikas Mandal’. Mr. Haribhau Bagade, former MLA presided over the program.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy said

1.  Mr. A. Raja has received commission of Rs. 60,000 crores in 2-G Spectrum scam. Out of which,  he kept Rs. 4000 Crores for self and gave balance to Congress President, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the then Home Minister P. Chidambaram and other seniors.
2. In terms of the law passed by United Nations Organization, Rs. 70,00, 000 crores of black money can be brought back to India; but the Indian Government is not giving such instructions.
3. The black money lying with other countries is exchanged through the medium of criminals in Dubai and gulf countries. These transactions are, therefore, controlled by ISI and it has all information about money held by respective leaders; therefore, Indian rulers take no action against terrorism sponsored by ISI.
4. Therefore, Ajmal Kasab or Mohammad Afzal are not yet executed.

Tribute to dedicated life of Shri. Rajaram Chougale !

Shri. Rajaram Chougale, the group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals passed away and it was the end of a dedicated life. The burning flame of ‘Kshatra-tej’ got extinguished. From the year 1999 when publication of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was started, he worked in the Editorial Department. Only three months back, he took over as the ‘Group Editor’ of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals. His contribution to the mission of welfare of Hindus, Nation and Dharma through the medium of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ has been very committed. With his demise, although a capable leader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals is gone, the perseverance and commitment with which he undertook his work, will help ‘Sanatan Prabhat’s Editorial Department to carry on the work with the same dedication.

From Difficult life to Editorial Department

Rajaram Chougale, known as ‘Raju Dada’, hailed from Kolhapur. He was born in a farmer’s family and led a life that was full of hardships. Even in such conditions, he completed post-graduation in Arts with English. While working in a hotel, he was preparing for Indian Administrative Commission’s examination. At such young age, he learnt about spiritual practice as propagated by ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ and then, within short period, he became a ‘full-time seeker’ under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha dedicating himself to the service of propagation of Dharma. In the year 1998, he had gone to Vaibhavwadi, a remote place in Sindhu-durga District for propagation of Dharma during which Sindhu-durga and Goa edition of ‘dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was started. Raju Dada used to travel a distance of 20 kms from Vaibhavwadi to Tarade at 4.00 o’clock in the early morning to fetch copies of the daily newspaper ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ and used to return to Vaibhavwadi by 4.00 p.m. delivering the newspaper everyday in different ‘waadis’. In this ‘seva’ of 12 hours, he used to even note down news from different ‘waadis’ and in the evening, do the ‘seva’ of compilation of news and take ‘satsangs’. Later, in Devagad area also, he did similar ‘seva’.

Shri. Rajaram Chougale, Group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals passes away !

Attained 61% spiritual level at the time of death securing a place in ‘Mahaloka’ !

Panaji (Goa) : Mr. Rajaram Chougale, the Group Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals who facedvarious types of distress, like failure of one kidney, diabetes, blood pressure, piles, heart ailment etc. along with severe spiritual distress, with a smile on his face, passed away on Ashwin Shu. Ekadashi, 25th October 2012 at 10.25 a.m., at the age of 43 years. He was working in the Editorial Department of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ for the past 13 years. Despite severe spiritual distress, he undertook spiritual practice vigorously and attained 61 % spiritual level at the time of his demise. He is survived by his parents, one married brother and two sisters.

Mr. Rajaram Chougale known as ‘Raju Dada’ in Sanatan family hailed from Kolhapur. He was known for his qualities like good planning, leadership, promptness, yearning for carrying on Guru’s mission, love for all; so also for his rage against anti-nationals and anti- Hindus, his fighting spirit and simplicity. He was a father figure for all seekers working in the office of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals and for seekers known to him. Since the year 1999, when daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ was published, he worked in the Editorial Department. Only three months back, he was appointed as ‘Group Editor’ of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals. Besides journalism, he had good knowledge in various fields like history, politics, literature, construction and farming. The last rites on his mortal remains will be performed at Tikpurli Village, Kolhapur, his native place. His continuous contribution for ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals has become a matter of inspiration for everyone working in the ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals group. Sanatan family joins Chougale family in this hour of grief.

Denigration of Shri Ganesh by 'Eshe Skate Boards' : Complaint lodged by HJS with ‘Cyber Crime’

Mumbai : ‘Eshe Skate Boards’ a Company manufacturing boards used for skiing and ‘T shirts’ from New Zealand was involved in desecration of Sri Ganesha. The above news was published by ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ in its issue dated 5th October. Thereafter, few devout Hindus sent e-mails to the above company protesting against such desecration and demanding prevention of the same. The Company has, however, given insolent replies dismissing demand made by devout Hindus. (People from various countries including the most developed country like USA are following Hindu Dharma although they advocate materialism because they have realized the importance of Hindu culture. ‘Eshe Skate Boards’ has no right to hurt religious sentiments of anyone. If they do not understand the matter with amiability, Hindus should make them understand in lawful manner ! – Editor SP)

HJS guides devout Hindus participated in Shri Durgamata Daud

Today, we need strict rulers like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ! – Mr. Satish Saravade, HJS

Miraj (Maharashtra) : During the regime of Chhatrapati Shivaraya, he used to immediately give stringent punishment to an offender. That was the true regime of law. Today, one Dr. Zakir Naik makes desecrating statements about Shri Ganesh,  Union Minister Jairam Ramesh compares temples with lavatories and no action is taken against any of them despite lodging many complaints at various places. This shows that there is no rule of law today. In the year 1947, there were 80 crores of cows in the country, the number has come down to 11 crores now and out of their 70 species, only 33 species exist today; therefore, we need strict rulers like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, said Mr. Satish Saravade of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a gathering on the occasion of concluding ceremony of Sri Durgamata Daud at Hind Mata Chowk.

Important intimation to Sanatan Sanstha's seekers and HJS activists regarding Police enquiry

There are limited rights granted to police for making enquiries ! - Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad

Since past few days, the local police are making contradictory and inconsistent enquiries without giving any pre-intimation by visiting homes of seekers/activists. Several complaints of this nature are received. The employees, working in local police stations and the persons, claiming to be ‘representatives of (intelligent bureau) secret services’ suddenly arrive at the residence. They ask questions related to family background of seeker/activist, source of income, business details, friends, other colleagues, participation of seeker/activist in various activities of the organisation, summary of happenings in public meetings and gatherings etc.

Sometimes, such questions are asked with humility under the pretext of formal routine enquiry. At times, they pretend to possess compassion for the activities of our organisation. However, the questions are raised sometimes under the threatening voice and as their rights. As a result of such enquiries, the seeker/activist gets confused as to exact reason for enquiry, and this exercise also results in mental distress being caused to the family members.

When such instances were brought by alert seekers/activists to the notice of ‘Hindu Lawyer’s Forum’, an organisation of lawyers fighting for the rights of Hindus, the lawyer members of the Forum have intimated following points to everyone for information related to limited rights of police and for the appropriate guidance.

Goa : HJS demands to stop the screening of anti-hindu films in the State and IFFI

HJS demands to Goa Government through demonstrations at Panaji : Stop the screening of the anti-hindu films in the State and in the forthcoming IFFI, disolve the Censor Board

Panaji (Goa) : Flims like ‘O, My God !,’ ‘Shudra – The Rising’ and ‘Student of the Year’, are being screened presently in the State, so also the film ‘Deool’ to be screened at IFFI festival have hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus very badly. This will cause unrest and harm religious harmony in the State, thus causing law and order situation. Hence the screening of these films should be stopped immediately. At the same time, disolve Central Sensor Board by taking legal action against it immediately and a Hindu representative should be appointed on the Board. Also do not invite the producer and actor Akshay Kumar, of the Anti-Hindu film, ‘O, My God’ for the inaugural function of IFFI. Legal action also should be taken against actor Akshay Kumar. Avoid the unnecessary expenses on IFFI and spend it for development in the State, is a demand made by state coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Dr. Manoj Solanki to the Goa Government. Dr Manoj Solanki had made this demand in a demonstrations organised by HJS near INOX in Panaji today.
